Idea.

Truffles…they are considered as one of the most interesting ingredients in our kitchens, so flavorful and unique, they can easily influent their aromas to any dish, any type of cuisine…they just have to be in the right hands of people who have a lot of passion.
That’s the sole idea of our project as well, to create a small and unique restaurant with vision to be a place, where the guests will be “spoiled” from the moment they enter the venue; to feel cosy and comfortable and enjoy every minute of it..that’s why we choose the name of the restaurant to be “Truffles”!

From the intimate and understatedly elegant atmosphere, to the stellar service and friendliness from the waitstaff and owners, to the imaginative and inspired menu (especially for vegetarians and vegans!), to the beautifully presented plates - a total five stars! And then there is the food -WOW! Perfectly prepared, well balanced and alive with freshness and flavor - what an amazing chef! If you find yourself in Kilkenny, Truffles is not to be missed!

A wonderful addition to Kilkenny’s dining scene.

Had a gorgeous lunch here and going again soon for dinner. Very comfortable surroundings and lovely staff, who were most accomodating when I asked for the on-menu saffron risotto with braised beef without the beef. Not an eye was batted, and the risotto I got had been adapted beautifully for my vegetarian tastes with some delicious veg. Very good value and the wines seem especially delicious. A wonderful addition to Kilkenny's dining scene.

Had a gorgeous lunch here and going again soon for dinner. Very comfortable surroundings and lovely staff, who were most accomodating when I asked for the on-menu saffron risotto with braised beef without the beef. Not an eye was batted, and the risotto I got had been adapted beautifully for my vegetarian tastes with some delicious veg. Very good value and the wines seem especially delicious. A wonderful addition to Kilkenny's dining scene.
